I reread the article and noticed they got the title of the book wrong. They intended to report on the "One Kit Wonders" book. (The robots mentioned in the article are from this book).
Oh well..all publicity is good publicity, right? :)

One of the article's main points is that a robot kit is better than a pre-made robot.
We've had our NXT kits for 2.5 years now, and we use them just as much as we did back in May of '06. (Try that with a prefabricated robot).
You are right. realized that when he was talking about the Candypicker.
