The application period for the selection of 20 members for the MINDSTORMS Community Partners (MCP 2.0) has ended. I received an email from LEGO stating that applications are being reviewed and participants can expect to be notified on or around next Tuesday (July 17).

Nope... the email didn't state any numbers on applicants.
